The home of wheelchair rugby in South Australia
Wheelchair Rugby South Australia is the dedicated body responsible for the delivery and governance of wheelchair rugby in SA.
The South Australian state team are the SA Sharks. The SA Sharks are a group of committed amateur, and semi-professional athletes who live with a permanent physical disability striving to provide opportunities for everyone in the community to participate in a healthy, safe, and inclusive sporting environment
Wheelchair rugby is the toughest sport on wheels. It is a fast paced and tactical game, and the club has maintained a strong presence in the National League and Championship competitions since its inception in the late 1980’s, with many of the SA athletes performing on the world stage at various levels, including at the World Championships and Paralympics.
The Sharks are managed by dedicated volunteer staff, all of whom tirelessly provide their skills, time, and assistance to ensure the club can offer a structured program
